Most hiking trails in NH are not suitable for horses, they are too rough and not cleared high or wide enough.

The National Forest has lots of gravel logging roads that are gated off from vehicles that would seem to be better, check with the nearest ranger district for suggestions http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/white/about_us/office_listing/index_list.html

Have you seen the state equestrian trails page http://www.nhtrails.org/Trailspages/EquesPages/equesHome.html
