WOW!!

I'm amazed at how the content of the story just gets better and better...and I've followed this story from the very beginning! Apart from a few grammatical errors *wink*, the chapter was EXCELLENT! Congratulations, Dewey!

As an aside...

I've followed the post on how readers here see Brian and Pete. I think this chapter goes a long way into reinforcing the idea of Pete being "the rock". UNLIKE the other chapters (with the exception of chapter 11), we now know that this factor is not lost upon Brian...in fact, the thought of not doing enough to compensate for everything he feels Pete has given him to this point is very much at the forefront of his biggest fear in regards to his relationship with Pete. As he said himself, "One missed step, and I'll be history." (Well, it's something along that statement, anyway...)

I'll be very interested in reading the chapters to come if for nothing else to see how Brian develops from this moment on, now that we know a little bit more about what drives him.

Again, congratulations on your work, Dewey!

- Heath
