OK, I think the audience laughed about twice as much in our hour than in the whole 90 minutes of The Boardinghouse Reach. Nice job out there by all the cast members!!

One sound miscue aside (sound booth delayed on the Holly Jolly for about 10 seconds, although it felt like 10 years) one stage cue (dropping of the tombstone batten instead of the raising of the streetlight batten) and one light cue (Scrooge's tombstone scene was missing the spot) ... all of the acting was just ... wonderful! And kudos to Ox for his first big play stage manager job - there are a ton of mike, light, sound, and rope cues to make, and he coordinated them very, very well. And Lizz - with a v.nice job on mic'ing 27 actors with 8 body mic's, over 7 scenes and 60 minutes.

We get another night to put together all that great acting with the cues in Scenes 5 & 6. Here's to tomorrow night and one more chance for our characters to live again!

Woo hoo!

Just got back from taking my SAT's... but that's not important, cause ACC WAS LAST NIGHT!!! Gawd, I enjoyed myself so much... everyone was so great! My whole family couldn't stop talking about it after we got home, and we were so pumped about it that we plopped in the tape (we recorded the performance, if anyone wants copies, let me know), and watched it right when we got home. You couldn't have pried the smile off of my face with the jaws of life! It was a magical, magical play, and I'm going to be sad to see it go. All I know is that tonight we have to make sure that the audience gets a show they'll never forget, cause they sure did last night.

Great job to everyone! See you tonight!
