LMAO!

I just hovered over Legless Pete's email link (see above). Little funny details like that are reasons why I love the Simpsons - ya watch the same episode 20 times, then suddenly notice something new that's funny that you missed the first 19 times.

Too bad "A Christmas Carol" couldn't go into syndication, so audience members could eventually get those little jokes - like Mrs. Cratchit's bed being in the kitchen because their apartment is so small.

Oh, and the can of cookies joke that they have been saving for a "special moment" since Easter, when the church donated them to the Cratchits. It's supposed to be like when a charity comes around and asks for food donations, and you don't donate good stuff people would actually eat, like peanut butter or Cheetos; you look in your pantry and you donate something hideous that you are definitely NEVER going to eat - so you won't miss it. Yet, in a moment of weakness in the Publix about a year ago, you bought it. And here's your opportunity to unload it without wasting food. Like a can of lima beans, or Prune Newtons, or canned cookies ... um, ok nobody thought that was funny but me. Oh well.

Um, back to set design.

our troupe should so play the simpsons trivia game. my sister always makes fun of me for how much i know about the show, but virtually any of the other members could take my little trivia queen tiara away in a second. and i liked that tiara too, all rhinestoney and whatnot, it won't look half as pretty as mr. gaudet.
