~Smoked brute o' darkness padded 'pon soft terra 'n caution,
harks twist t' pick up any sound o' life,
nares flare scenting the prescence o' a pack,
twin burning coals gleam wi' anticipation,
no sight o' lupes set since many moons past,
halting,
sixth sense feeling th' border o' anothers lithosphere,
questioning gaze sent 'nto darkness itself challenging its dominance,
sudden sound,
baritone call sent resounding throught frondescence,
need o' a mate heard clear 'n its tone~
