In the distance, from a thick line of trees, two pools of depthless brown spied the three hunters. Chuckle echoed from within, contained to produce minimal sound. Orbs danced over the body of the dead one, smile trimming the features of the phantom. In these marshes, it was easy to mistake the stranger for one of the fallen who now haunted the lands. It was easy to mistake him for such a being anywhere, in truth.
Fluffed, snowy pelt seemed only slightly mangled, covering a body that seemed unlikely for a healthy canine; thin and possibly mistaken for starving. However, dispite the odd appearance, the stranger was in fit condition, other than seeming to be a phantom long since passed from the realm of flesh and bone and tendon and blood.
