Citgo sells bad quality fuel. It will damage the car's engine before a year.
Fuel sold at CITGO gas stations is of bad quality. Citgo fuel is contaminated. They mix the fuel with ethanol, to make more fuel for a cheaper price. However, this wears down cars engines sooner. Additionally, the gas sold at Citgo has big amounts of water and it will considerably reduce the life of your car's engine. Repairing a car's engine can certainly cost its fair amount of money.
Play it safe and avoid CITGO gas stations. Preserve the life of your car's engine.

FOR SALE:
1971 Torino two piece grill insert, will also fit 1970 model. This came off of a 71 Torino Squire wagon, but I believe was also available on the 500, GT, and four door models....not sure about Cobra.
This grill I would say is in Good to very good shape. All mounting areas are fine with no cracks, scratches, etc. apparent. Has some sun fading is all.
I will take $110.00 with shipping included to lower 48 states.

These are Nice Ford 9 inch center sections.I have - 4.33-5.00-5.43 gear ratios. The ring and pinons have been debured and have very nice ware patterns. All are in a nodular case with billet steel caps. They also have the big bearing daytona support and a spicer yoke with pulley. The posi is a nice 31 spline detroit locker unit. These are ready to bolt in. $850.00 ea PLUS SHIPPING. Cost way over $1700.00 for one of these.

Going to sell my 63 427 motor. It is at the machinist now. All standard throughout, Block and crank. Will have original domed pistons, but Teflon coated. Original grind cam. Motor will be balanced.
The #s are correct on the block and heads, all C3s, and the heads are one week apart if memory serves me correctly. Timing cover is the same.
Will get all the #s for anyone seriously interested. I will be happy to provide the name and number of the shop doing the motor so that you can visit with the machinist, if you want, and are serious about the motor.
No intake. No distributor. No exhaust manifolds. No valve covers, unless I can dig up a set just to cover the valves up. Will be long block, with factory style deep pan, however.
I don't really want the hassle of Ebay. I will be asking $7850.00 for this motor. Price is somewhat negotiable, but, I don't have to tell you guys how rare a 63, correct #s, all standard motor is!
Surely somebody here really, really, really needs this motor!

This is a stock FE 427 industrial engine. This engine was rebuilt 5 years ago and ran 30 days on an irigation well. It was then replaced with a diesel engine. Engine has not ran since, but was stored inside. This engine is NOT cross-bolted.

Have parts from a 428 I had built by a machine shop and it puked. Set of C80E heads, manley SS valves, exhaust ports done, CC'd, intake ports matched to an intake from Blue Thunder from Detroit Michigan. The intake from Blue thunder has the large ports for a 428 to match my heads. New Demon 850 carb,CSR electric water pump. New Hooker headers to fit 428 in 1969 Fairlane. Proper HI-Po mounts from Crites in Ohio, Moroso oil pump and 6 QT oil pan, windage tray. Best reasonable offer for these parts. I'd sell the '69 Fairlane for the right offer. Professionally tubbed by chassis shop with moly 8 point cage,full frame, 16"welds on rear, 5" welds front runners, ricaro buckets, Griffin 4 core aluminum rad, aluminum shroud, twin electric fans, holley blue pump and filter in rear off of fuel cell, all AN fittins, NO hose clamps!! 4.11 locker w/trick adjustable suspension, Aluminum floor pan covering, carbon fiber door panels, electric remote entry, power disc brakes(all new, all new brakes in rear) full 3" stainless exhaust properly welded to collectors(no clamps)3 burla SS mufflers, Silver illusion w/red,blue,red metalflake that shows in sunlight, Hidden flames on stripes on hood, Dark tint glass, Ford Thunderbolt hood scoop, brake scoops on quarters in front of rear wheels. I have a nice shaker assembly off of a 70 Torino. Scoop, midplate with flapper and vacuum, gasket (not too good), breather lid, and base. No snorkel. I am not sure that the base is absolutely correct since it does not have the mounting studs. It looks just like the base on a 70 Torino 429 SCJ that I had the chance to look at recently, but, again, it does not have the mounting studs. I have purchased the studs, however, and they are included.
This is a good solid, no rust, no cracks, no dent shaker assembly.

This 428 Cobra-jet GT Fastback was purchased a couple of years ago in Wyoming where it spent it's life. It is now located in Maryland. The underside looks like a western car should look - RUST FREE! The doors are solid as a rock. Right quarter is very usable. Left 1/4 had a previous repair, and needs much work, or replacement. Right fender solid. Left fender missing, but I have a nice one to go with the car. Same with the grille (I have one), with headlight assemblies. Windshield cracked, all other glass good. Interior trashed. Bucket seats (ripped) and console (cracked). Dash pad shot. Headliner torn. Motor, radiator, and hood are missing. Complete correct rear still installed (9", 31 spline, 3.91:1 posi, X code). Correct C6 transmission with cast iron tailshaft still installed. Part of the bottom front of the convertor housing of the transmission is broken away - needs welded. Power steering and Power Brakes, AM radio.
If you are looking for a RARE 68 1/2 R code car to restore - don't miss this one!! Except for the surface rust where paint is missing on the body, this car is rust free. The original undercoating is still on the car, and where it's peeling off is original rust free paint. The frame rails, torque boxes, rockers, floors, etc. are rust free. Email for more information, and to request the pictures.
Tires are dry-rotted, wheels are incorrect. Car rolls easily. Driveshaft is included, as are 1/4 extensions. I think one of the taillights is missing, but I may have one.
$5500 as is. The title is available from ITS or Broadway Title Co. I can assist in obtaining it, if you are unfamiliar with the process.
Delivery on my trailer is a possibility, or I can help load onto your preferred transporter.

The Good: 2 door hardtop. Both doors,fenders and the decklid are in very good condtion. Both the top and the floors are in the same shape. All the glass is good in the car as is all the chrome around the glass and top. The orig. hood is with the car but is in poor shape. I also have the chrome "V" that goes in hood.Both tailights are with the car and are in good shape.
The bad: Inner apron/bottom of core support where battery goes is rusted out. Both Quater panels have been cut to accomidate larger tires and are in need of repair/replacing.
This car is described exactly as it is. There is no suspension, drivetrain or interior. There are very few ,if any, parts that weren't mentioned,such as misc chrome and/or barke hardware, etc.

I have a 69 s code mach 1. I don't have the original motor but would like to at least put a 390 in it.I'm not concerned about numbers matching,I can't afford that.My question is what years can I use to fit in the car? Can I use a truck motor? Do 390's have 352 stamped on the front? A friend has a motor he said is a 390 but it has 502 or 205 stamped onthe front. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for a 1972 Torino Gran Sport with a 351c and a 4speed.Fastback or Formal roof with a good body,trunk and quarters to have minimal rust.Motor can be in need of rebuild just as long as everthing is there.Just got rid of same type of car with way to much rust,dont have time for that.Thanks for any info.
