The hatching sands are a part of the hollowed-out cliff, and are accesable by dragonback and by foot. Stone seats are carved into the side and run the full circle, waiting for the crowd to fill them. High above are ledges for the dragons and their riders.

The Queen lies near the clutch, her wedge-shaped golden head swung about towards the eggs, protectively brooding over them. A blazing eye briefly passes over all who enter, catching every detail.
