As of now, the official tryouts for the Texas A&M Men's Volleyball Club Team are set for Monday and Tuesday September 10th and 11th from 5:30-8 PM in G. Rollie White. Get there early to be warmed up and ready to go by 5:30. On Monday, please try to arrive by 5-5:10 for check-in.

Everyone, bring your insurance information as you will need it to fill out forms prior to participating in the tryout.

Brief details on the season:

Texas A&M Volleyball fields both a 1st and 2nd team. The 2nd is aimed more towards development, but both teams are very competitive. In all, this means we keep roughly 20 players, depending on positions and team dynamics.

We practice generally twice a week, Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-8. Practices are all mandatory barring class conflicts (Being a club sport, we are very flexible and realize school comes first). Tournaments are on Saturdays generally. We play about 3 in the Fall. 1st team plays 6-8 in the Spring, while 2nd team plays 5.

Dues for the year are $250. This includes everything you'll ever need (airfares, uniforms, tournament entry, etc) with the exception of food and gas at tournaments.

In the coming weeks, please watch the message board for open gym announcements as we get geared up for tryouts and the season. Also, in the event a scheduling change is made, it will be announced here.

We are all looking forward to the year and look forward to seeing you at tryouts.
