So i'm reflecting on how Ben Farmer is obsessed with Stanford women's volleyball... (particularly the new freshman, Alix Klineman)... anyways, i'm reading her bio, then i click over to Cynthia Barboza, their other amazing all-american, all-world outside, and started reading her "about me" stuff, or whatever... anyways, when she was asked why Stanford is the team to watch this year she replied...

"We're more than a team, we are all best friends working together toward a common goal, the national championship. We do more than play with each other - we play for each other"

And I got to thinking that's how a true team competes, especially the last sentence, and I think that's what we should strive to achieve.

This may be really lame, especially since it's like 4:30 in the morning, but I've never heard a "teamwork" quote like that before, and think it's pretty good, especially for volleyball, a sport where teamwork and team chemistery is so crucial to success.
