This is only me fantasizing. It is the way I would love to see the World.


What if?
Elvis was still alive
would he have a number one hit today,
what if
Mark Chapman was never born
wouldn´t it have been a less catastrophic and flawless tragedy if the engines failed on Enola Gay,
What if
Hitler married a Nun
instead of Eva Braun
would the war have ever begun
and would we have given a shit about how the "west was won"

What if
there was no such a thing as starvation in Africa
and everyone was fed, clothed, sheltered and neatly resident,
What if
(and wouldn´t it have been great) if they could elect Martin Luther as the U.S. President,
What if we weren´t so hell bent in polluting the sky,
and wouldn´t it have been strange if Van Gogh had cut out his left eye,
What if we could all just shut up and live in peace,
(and abolish Amnesty International)
because we would have no Political prisoners to release,

What if
that Space Challenger shuttle
was never invented,
wouldn´t it have been fantastic to watch the clear skies at newstime to see yet another Air disaster had successfuly been prevented,
What if God didn´t have so many different names
there would be no war in the Middle East
no confrontations and no sectarianism,
and wouldn´t it be nice to leave our Animals alone
and everyone would turn to vegetarianism,

and What if
there was no such thing as hate, death, sadness but only happiness,
and isn´t it about time they actually legalised cannabis,
What if we could scrap the debt in the Third World
and give them back what we ACTUALLY OWE THEM,

and wouldn´t it be cool if I could (for once)
write and send out a decent poem?
