Heading where



With June in elemental brevity, blow sail
in greys, watch weep another sky
forget! as I draw tack, set forth across
the sea withdrawing plight
excused at least by incoherent dreams.

Requests are such, I imply that very tone
and yet declined, inordinately at best
the faintness shows so well,
my mind can grasp that sound
while rain falls form, suggestion un-denied.

In sleep I rest, my culinary desires suppressed
awaiting your return, at least, caress
if no more warmth is where I tread at best
my quickened pace, in truth might lead
where your discarded influence is shed.
