November Rain


Time of change is upon us again
The leaves are changing
From green to orange
Yellow to brown
Falling like drops
Of rain caught by the light
Of the setting sun
Or a tear on A

Tender face
That has lost
The lover of her youth
The tear falling from the
Corner of her eye
Catching the Hugh’s of the fading light
Shining out like a diamond of a thousand colors
Filled with so much pain and anger
It trickles down her face disappearing into the corner
Of her mouth

A wish a prayer
So quietly whispered
Off such tender, trembling lips
For that love to return and fill
Her life with dreams, and kindness

The stars filling her watering eye
Caught in a dream with no escape

A lonely heart miles away
Watching the setting sun
Wishing to find loves mystery
To caress to hold
Another who cares
As much as his heart can hold
And that he can give with all his strength

Looking deep into the fire of passion
That is setting on the horizon
A heavens light, to guide him
In his hearts journey
Across the wastelands
Of life

The air is turning crisp
Cutting your lungs like
A steal knife
Chilling the bones
Aching the heart
The music of summer
Is fading fast




The lonely hearts call out to be held
To know the sound
Of the mystifying music
Of the summer so quickly passed
To be loved entwined in the arms of love
But such a dream for all
For so few
To find that true love
In this desolate world
That has forgotten how to hold
Such a tender moment
To embrace the wanting of the heart
The longings of a tender touch

A couple emerges from
The falling leaves
Of summer dreams
Holding hands
You can hear their hearts beating
In the air where summer once stood
Unmoving in its caring ways
It pounds out a rhythm
Aching to hold one and another

The warmth held by two on this cold
November twilight
May soon pass
Gone so quickly
Like lovers do
But tonight has that feeling that
It will never end
For time has no meaning in lovers’ arms
In the warm touch of another
The kiss that fills your chest
Your heart
That beats so much stronger filling the soul
With the fire of the rising sun
Bringing daylight
In all it’s radiant hope into
The places that have grown
So dark and cold
Like a touch of an angel
On a child’s cheek
They disappear into the night
To where lovers go
Fading like the light of a shooting star
Spinning through the heavens
On a UN-for-seen course
To disappear at the end of its path
Without a trace into the night
Except for in the memories of the
Lonely heart
