Subject: The Storm

The sortilege of the night settles in
As the stars fill the pullulated sin

The wind beckons with a heartfelt murmur
With a steady pulse, as if she where a drummer

The winds captures my anima
As she whispers her Dilemma

Two old friends together
Reeling from the broken strands of the tether

Athwart the heavens
Surveying the pillage of the ravens

Listing to the stories of the rain
The earth and her pain
We spin into the depths of the hurricane

As she unleashes her torment
Orchestrating a sonnet

Lighting flashes
The sea crashes

Across the tortured land
Turning mountains into sand

The chaos settles as we move into the eye
Surveying the land she begins to cry

The storm begins to die
Letting out a simple sigh

Cast back to the meadow
I stand beneath the weeping willow

My wind torn face stares into the sky
As a vigilant tears glistens in the corner of my eye

The wind whispers through the leaves
Spinning mystery as she leaves

Tatters of my heart escape in the night
Never again to find the light
