AWOKEN FEARS

Am quite heartsick,
Wondering what makes other people tick.
Seeing fuss about the Orient House
This is nothing, compared to the thick
Of horrid suicide killings, or maimed.
About that, Palestinians are quieter than a mouse.

Yes, they have many valid points to make
But ramming them down the World's throat
Fanatical Almighty belief. By choice, those self-bombs.
Makes me wonder for whose, very unholy sake
Lives destroyed by distorted belief of Islam's psalms.
Although, is this not, just wanting land?
Religion being used as a holy terror disguise?

Could not Israel share the land while
Treating everyone as first-class citizens?
Part of an remedy, shared by all denizens.
Or will bitter memories have hearts frozen
In heat of hate, melting sand into red-yellow bile?

How can people speak with each other
When believing only, the other side is wrong.
In the long tin soldier's run,
Will they all fall on the ground, one after another?
What results, of this religious song prolonged?
Must we give up thinking while believing?

A few circles are cycles of waste, until soul cleaned
As this, a much hotter version of England and Ireland
Bloody waste of hopes and tears,
Except for both sides self-appointed gods.
What is the difference between Jerusalem and Dublin?
Either city .. awakes my worst fears!
What say you and "...et tu..."?
