Subject: Hair Pulling Time ~an apology poem


Hair Pulling Time



My computer, sometimes called as an ongoing roast,
The "flintstone'putor", often making me
Seem like a bit of a nitwit with multiple posts
Although yes, proudly a happy nitwit at times
I am, I am, when it comes to making fun times fine.
However, Flinty often does not save what is culled
Even though it said it did with wink of eye rhyme.
Makes me feel like I swallowed a lime..

Yes, also my "Jeweler’s Lust" * whispering campaign,
When it comes to polishing poems,
Sometimes over and over again.
Not being facetious to say,
That may not help the mess for visceral brain:
I often leave behind,
For poetic blush of messy lyrical domain

What would you do with this 'puter?
Being disconnected anywhere
From every 3 minutes annoying like a pea shooter
Up to a break of hour or so of work fun
Too quickly again, it is a mind polluter.
Many times, it doesn't let me know
When it turns off connection, while laughing
Off automatic reconnect as my trouble shooter.

And then, again and again,
Those two hard boots
Feeling like they kicked my tush hard
To get back online forsooth
Worse still for just writing
With "Mikey Soft" like pulling a tooth
This thrills me not as temper igniting
While it treats me very uncouth

Yes, I know, get a new one
Not very easy when one has been taken
Twice by computer repair persons
Gobbling new machine's green paper
For misguided saving of old files
Oh, woe on me, those times on bigger boards
I get that error message of "done
But with errors on page."
Sure can tell you, it's not much fun!

Wishing was I, a computer sage
Spilling out wonderful words
For papers mixed with electronic.
Fear of this generic 586
Which has eaten my poems
Correspondence or notes,
Right before my very eyes.
If one doubts, say I with a smile,
See time 'tween posts
Despite still being happy
I have a computer something.

Just another long time problem
I seem unable to resolve
With so much vital to do,
Cannot seem to move.
Keep praying this is only
Some potholes on yellow brick road
Heading towards Light
As I feel so Persephone,
Doing well in Hell
While my heart is stuck in spring.
Except she at least has some help
With a six month husband.
Have to keep sane by keeping my laughter
Alive or is it, my Scottish stubborn ways?

Please not again, melting, disappearing ways
Although not that witch of fiction,
Supposedly the other one of good
With my real life Toto dying,
Not said, to put you .. into pinklerton** blue.

Pinklerton police as in silent movies
[before my time too&:-)]or well known,
tough Detectives??? Not sure why
it popped out.

Oh yes, while in a long line for the bank
Got to speaking with a really nice couple
He advised me to check out Hewlett Packard site
Moreover I have and there may be hope yet!!!
