Paper Sheets


Coastal retreat at dawns’ chorus
in the distance waves crash,
how virginal crisp white paper can be
or seductive with the right words.

Gathered cloth upon warm thighs
conveys similar thoughts,
transformed by simple arrangement
as sight catches a warm place.

The mind pondering might cease
while gesturing receptive,
intimately lies aching to be touched
gasping becomes obligatory.

Rising to fulfil, one single shaft
beyond each parting drape
then spilled while sparkling bright
onto this page, on which I write.
