Must my will to love become malfescent
without the adieu of its benefactor
I remember that day
a clear as a coin held before me in the fog
how the coat-tails of opportunity came
rested the boroughs of hope in my heart
for a moment alone
Then, as she stood before me in grandeur
its nature prepossessed of the sanctitudes
I was choked by the repugnance of expectation
stammer and stutter my well crafted plans led astray
She said thank you, I have to leave
and I walked away
