Serenity of Silence

Serenity of silence;
like a pond unmoved by wind,
reflecting willows hanging undisturbed.

The fisherman, sitting in his dreams,
hoping to catch rainbow fishes.

The sun is setting in the west,
illuminating the wonders of sunset colours.

Has the fisherman caught any fish?
Or does he leave them
for the soaring seagulls?

Looking down at the beauty
of lingering fragments of rainbows
against endless skies;

Serenity of silence,
captured and framed.
