stop this nonsense ~ i go nowhere
i'm mistaken ~ thought you were there

used to tell me brilliant somethings
now replaced with empty nothings
what am i supposed to do?
why did you show the real you?

fading ~ fading ~ going fast
love was never meant to last
goodbye future ~ hello past
guess i moved a bit too fast

make me silent ~ stop my screams
our love is not what it seems
strange feelings just overtook me
i stepped in and your world shook me

so now should i turn and run?
did you do it just for fun?
talked together ~ said too much
you refused to feel my touch ~

gone again ~ what else is new?
you knew i already knew
too afraid to see me ~ know me
your secrets you’ll never show me

will you always hold that fear?
making sure no one gets near?
put your walls up ~ keep your distance
take the path of most resistance ~

so unhealthy and you know it

venture to the darker side ~

ok then stay where you are

what you do inspires me more
