The nucleus of my soul dissolving
The sound of cellos, earth revolving
Musing musical I light the match flame
I turn away.

The lures of phrases past are gone
I kneel in ditches, praying, waiting
For juxtaposed kings and queens breaking
These harsh harvests are gathered alone
I turn away.
