Thank you so very much for your comments and compliments. it was lovely to say that i am a really good writer because it gives me a lot of confidence especiallly when it comes from a poet like yourself. I know how much of a compliment it was that you should compare me to a young Rafeala, because i have read her work and she is a beautifully powerful and compelling poet/writer.
I need to revise the syntax on that untill you poem i know this. it doesn't quite float how it should. i wanted the poem to connote the dream like state that i was in, when i met him, but some how the whole structure became a little disjointed. Im very glad that you commented on the soulfulness of this poem because that was the kinda mood i was in when wrote this and i always try to reflect the way i think and feel into each piece. i'll try my best to speak to you really soon, if not through email then maybe i can write to you! just an idea. love L.A xx
