I have heard of square foot gardening. It is amazing when things actually grow isn't it? I think when I was a kid we had a garden maybe twice ever. My Mom is more of a gatherer. Anyway anytime things work it's amazing. That is so cool about your garden.

Britt's normally a good sleeper too. We do have the feedings we have to do, but he rarely wakes up for them. I think it was the nurses at the hospital or maybe just the hospital experience, but he LOVES his crib. Even if he isn't tired at night he's usually just content to be there. He does get a little rambunctious if he has too much energy, but that doesn't happen very often. In the tent however I think it bugs him that we're so close and then there's the cold anywhere he doesn't have a blanket over him (icicle hands). When we tried camping in the back yard we had his playpen in the tent with us. He slept great, but Wade and I were so cramped it was miserable. It's hard to stay sleeping in a cramped space when your bed is so very close. Anyway if we get the tipi up then Wade tells me there will be PLENTY of room for us and the playpen. So that's the next plan.

Industry is a funny thing in our household. We can go for long stretches of time without doing much of anything and then can't take it anymore I guess and go nuts. We've been married three years now and have realized just how little we'd planned to do together once we could be together that we've actually done. Anyway, sometime, many times plans are much bigger than reality. Like this morning. Plan: do the dishes, start some laundry, move the car, trim lilac bush, feed Britt. Actual accomplishment: moved dishes out of the sink and wash syringes and one especially stinky pan, trim lilac bush (before Britt woke), feed Britt, talk to my sister and my dad.

Anyway, fun to talk with you. I've heard all about how great it is in that area for gardening. I have a friend who moved here from New York and she LOVED the soil and gardening conditions there. Anyway, I'd better go work on dishes while Britt's asleep.
