Did any of you watch the RS broadcast last night? Very good messages of course. I just have one question: why, WHY does President Monson always have to talk in passive voice?!?! Really, I’m trying to understand. Because it makes no sense to me that when he tells the story of giving a girl a blessing he has to say “a blessing was given”. What’s the deal?? YOU GAVE THE BLESSING. Just say: “I GAVE THE GIRL A BLESSING.” Okay, deep breath. I love Elder Monson. I just don’t understand his speaking style. But he’s still inspired. And I still listen to his counsel. Anyway . . . . . . . .
