I'm actually doing really well. Thanks for asking. :) It's been an interesting time.

We got the divorce finalized about a month ago, got the house sold and everything divided up, and I'm just living with my parents and working.

I didn't realize until the past couple weeks just how low I had sunk emotionally with the divorce drama - because I'm finally getting back to my old self and it feels so good! My family has commented on it and close friends around here have commented on it - that I seem like myself again. I'm calling it my "new-old self". It's nice

So I am happy and feel good about things. I haven't started dating yet . . . happy to start but know I will be much pickier this time around when it comes to choosing a spouse. :) I've learned so much about myself and I think I've grown a lot from the experience (both the marriage and the divorce) so I'm glad.

I can't remember if I told you guys: I've applied to BYU's business school for this fall. I applied not knowing if I really wanted to start this fall or wait a year to finish things up with work but figured it would be good to keep my options open. I should hear back soon from BYU and then I'll make my final decision. I'm leaning towards deferring a year because there's a lot of exciting stuff going on with my job right now that I'd like to stick around for. My dad wants me to get down to BYU because he thinks I'm going to find all kinds of great eligible bachelors there (even though I've heard from several people most the guys in the MBA program are married and that SLC has a better pool of LDS "professionals" . . . kind of funny).

Anyway, so that's my status. Life is good!
