Hey guys,
Sorry to keep you wondering. Ryan had an MRI a week ago and the results came back normal. Yes, we're very relieved. That means there's no tumor, his pituitary gland is just doing weird things on its own. So he has started hormone replacement therapy - its testosterone in the form of a gel that he rubs on his shoulders or stomach. Crazy what modern medicine can do these days. The first couple days of it have caused some side effects but that is pretty normal. He should be doing fine soon.

We're just glad to know what's been causing some of his problems. Aside from having virtualy no sex drive, low testosterone causes anxiety, low self esteem, abnormal fat production, inability to build muscle and tiredness. I had no idea. We've had some major ongoing conflicts in our marriage the past 3 years, especially the sex issue, and I wish we had checked things out sooner. You know, you get to a point when you're constantly being asked "when are you going to have kids?" that you just want to reply, "guess what: it's pretty hard to get pregnant when you're never having sex!" Anyway . . . there's my little rant. Hopefully things will improve.

Thanks for your concern! Hope you're all doing well.

I miss you!
