On Thursday, my sister and I drove for 6 1/2 hours to Las Vegas. On Friday morning, we drove back. Why?

TO SEE A MOVIE.

Yes, that's right: we drove for over twelve hours to see a MOVIE. That opens September 30. How nerdy can you get? Driving that far to see a pre-screening of a movie? I think that's pretty nerdy. It was totally worth it, though.

We saw Serenity. Very, very cool. If you know the show (how many types have I hyped Firefly to you guys? Add one to the list) you'll obviously be a bit more involved and invested in the characters, but even if you've never even heard of it, you'll like the movie. The best word to describe it is INTENSE. I highly recommend you all go see it when it finally opens.

So yeah, I'm pretty nerdy. But at least I admit it, right? That's gotta be something. :)
