Emily, I haven't read that book but I did study up a little on the Ferber method for David when he was a baby. He had a hard time getting a schedule but eventually was sleeping through the night at about 18-20 months old. Isaac sleeps really well at night cause he hates napping in the daytime.
I'm glad Ruby is doing well. I understand that those alone times mean so much! I actually cherish the 5 seconds after I have put them both in the van and have to walk around to get in my seat. :) Any seconds of silence and empty hands helps!! And I have a half eaten bag of chocolate chips in my pantry right now, and not cause I made cookies!
My mom is still around but she is in and out of the hospital a lot. And people in my ward are really nice about offering but I have a hard time asking. Isaac is a pretty high maintenance baby with the reflux. He likes to eat every 1-2 hours or else!!
Anyhow, Thanks so much for the words of encouragement!!

Elisa, I do NOT envy the packing and moving thing, though I am sure it help knowing that you get to put all the stuff in to your own house! How exciting!

Sara
