I like hearing about your plans and wishes. Our best friends will be in NYC this summer, which is why I was thinking about us going to visit--we'd have a place to stay, and I think Ruby will never be easier to travel with. The only way I could justify it is if we could do it extra cheap.

Well, I'm glad you like Ruby's pictures! I email them to friends and hope they're not like, "Oh, not again...boring" but I figure they can delete the email if not interested. I just love her so much, I take way too many photos.

KIERSTEN: the reason why you went back to school is so that you can have summers off. ;-) That's why I wanted Joe to go back to school: summers off and holiday vaccations. Of course, sacrificing a steady income is kind of an inconvenience. ;-)

Elisa, I think you should by a charming brick house with a sun porch and hardwood floors and lots of windows--and a well established flower garden. Then you should paint the walls with COLOR. White moldings in every room with pale butter yellow walls, sage green walls, a dark red dinning room with white trim, and shades of toupe and tan. Then buy lots of lamps for warm lighting. Hey--can I help you decorate? You have a huge budget right? Lots of money to spend, right? ;-) Ah...to dream.

Kiersten, Hollywood video didn't have the Firefly series. Lame.

I like Christine's idea--let's all meet in NYC. I think I'll have a garage sale and try to make some money--maybe enough for a single airfare.
