Ditto on the congrats, Em. That sounds like a great fit for you, especially with you pregnancy. Are you feeling alright these days?

Jessica, I'm feeling MUCH better, thanks for asking. I'm not back to normal yet, but I've been told that can take a couple months. I still sleep about 9-10 hours a night, but then I'm able to work a full day and not have to take a nap. If you've been feeling icky for 2 weeks maybe you should go get the blood test done. Are your glands swollen? That seems to be the most prevalent symptom from what I've researched. Mono is actually also known as "glandular fever" because of the way it affects your glands. Make sure you're getting plenty of sleep!

About the debates, I was very disappointed last week with George Bush, but I think the reports may be accurate that his aides just over-prepped him and he got flustered. John Kerry is without a doubt a better debater--but that's all he does in the Senate so he's had more experience. Ryan and I are excited to watch tonight and see if Bush can perform better. He's never been really smooth or quick on his feet, but his humor could save him. He absolutely must do a better job attacking Kerry and articulating his firm stance on the war on terror.

I LOVED the vice presidential debate. Dick Cheney womped (am I permitted to use that word?) John Edwards. The best part about Cheney is he is so completely understated and calm so when he lets loose with his attacks they are even more effective. Edwards did alright, but he treated it like he was addressing a courtroom jury and it didn't exactly work. He kept trying to use his talking points even if they didn't fit, and if he had said "we have a plan" one more time I was going to throw my shoe at the TV.

Anyway, let's chat after tonight's debate!

Elisa
