Kiersten and Elisa,

I think you are absolutely right. That's one of the main reasons why I find people around here so obnoxious lately. According to all of the "open-minded" and "tolerant" liberabls, people in the middle of the country are ignorant rednecks. I mean, come on. Isn't this the point of a democracy? Everybody gets to vote and then we live with that decision? It's not like it's "illegitimate" or whatever they called the 2000 election.

We would LOVE to get to DC and are trying very hard, but we found out this week that 2 firms that were kind of our last hope turned Dave down. So we are kind of depressed. He's hoping that the firm he worked for this summer will send him down there, but he's kind of ignored them since he hoped to not work for them. Yuck. But we'll be alright. Even if Dave has to work in the city I think we'll still move out to the suburbs so we can (hopefully) get some more space.

On a brighter note, does anyone watch "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition"? It is the best show on TV. Tonight they remodeled the home of a family of 2 deaf parents with 2 sons, one of whom is blind and autistic. I rarely cry at anything, but the things they did for this family was just so nice. There are still good peoople. :)

I had dinner with Christine a week ago. It was nice to see her. She is enjoying her job and we're both eager to settle down and get a house. She said she doesn't care if she gets married soon, but she wants a house. :) I concur.

Hope all is well out there in Utah!

Jess
