Subject: I can't believe the show is over...

and I can't believe Spike has really died. I had read the spoilers, but when the news hit that James Marsters would be joining the cast of Angel, I thought the ending and his fate would be changed. Still, it was a a beautiful way to go. It's amazing the progress this character has made over the last five years. From a vicious murderer to a love struck redemption seeking Scooby. He not only died saving the world, but he died loved as well. Yes, Buffy loved him. When she grabbed a hold of his hand and did not let go despite the fire, I knew she truly loved him. The look of revelation as she said the words tell the whole tale. Spike was loved and now he can move on and fulfill his destiny, whatever that may be. Although this site has had little activity, I don't plan on abandoning it. Spike will move onto Angel, his story will continue, and this board will remain open.
