Trick Effect & Routine:
The Magi stands in a 5 foot box with no top, coloured black.A Cloth is paced blocking the spectator/s veiw as the magi stands in the box.It is pulled away,showing the magi floating 1/2/3/ 4-(max)foot in the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Preparation:
choose the height to float and get a strong box the height of it,Get a mirror that high,and also a peice of wood about 1 metre high and the length of the performing area,and paint it black.This will act as something for the mirror to reflect,and it will act as a barrier for the audience.now make the "other box".It should beabout 5 foot high,have 3 sides and the width??You decide.also paint it black-EVERYWHERE!Get the Gimmick box and attatch the mirror to the front.there should be no peice of the "box" veiwing.Place the gimmick in the middle of the "veiwing box".From behind the barrier it should look like the back of the box.

Method:
Get 2 chairs and place them either side of the box.2 assistants should stand on them each holding the corners of a bed sheet/cloth.They should rise it up when the Magi is entering the box and lower it when he is up on the gimmick.To get down,Reverse.
