I have to admit, for about the first six or seven episodes I was going back and forth between:

(option A) "I want Yuki or K to shoot Shuichi just to shut him the @#$# up!"
and
(option B) "I want *anybody* to shoot Yuki because he's an ice-blooded SOB with all the human warmth and compassion of a tank of liquid nitrogen!"

But somewhere later in the series, the irresistable-force-and-immovable-object interaction actually manages to beat enough of the worst of their respective personalities out of them, so that they actually start behaving like people who at least have a concept of human social interaction, even if they're still too messed up to count as sane by any stretch of the imagination... ^^;;;

I can entirely understand why people could have a bad reaction to the start of it and not want to have to sit through enough of it to wait for them to get a little more
civilized.

I object to people dismissing it out of hand JUST because it's a couple gay guys kissing, though. >.<

(But if you object to it because there's only two members of the cast who are neither certifiably insane nor an infuriating antisocial/unsocialized neurotic walking disaster area, there's nothing I can argue with there... and I'm counting the stuffed pink bunny as one of the two sane ones... ^^;;;;;)

And let's not even get into the animation quality's wildly variable skill levels. At least it's not Weiss Kreuz animation; I swear there were several scenes of Weiss which must have been done by amateurs if/when they ran out of money to hire pros... @_@

I do like Gravitation, after having given it enough of a chance to go from "what the @#$ are these people on?" to "okay, they're lunatics but I can understand where they're coming from."

But I can understand the viewpoint of those who don't want to give it that much time... that's about where I was with Berserk and Initial D...
