Before I graduated (and got a job) I freely admitted to borrowing stacks of tapes from Rentertainment and making copies. I did this under the justification that I would buy it when I had the money, I just didn't have it right then.

Now that I do (have the money), I do have to put my money where my mouth is. And I have.

Yeah, those people are scum. Sure you weren't going to buy it anyway, you already made an illegal copy. Circular reasoning may be flattering but it's worthless as actual logic, not in the least because most of the people who say that are like this guy:

Yeah, I downloaded XYZ the other day. It was cool.
