Subject: Dry Dock Tionol, Oxford

Announcing the 'dry dock Tionol' here in Oxford on Sunday 17th October 2004. The first section of the day will be at the Friends Meeting House, 43 St Giles, from 2pm-7pm. This is a very central location with parking right outside. We shall have a room for reedmaking classes, piping classes and an acoustics lecture, and a seperate room for session playing, recital and general chit chat.

The teacher, as at the successfull 'Floating Tionol' is Brian Howard. The price is Ł15 to cover costs and an optional Ł10 for a Howard reedmaking kit, with which you will fashion a fully working reed during the afternoon.

From 9pm onwards we shall join the regular and oft spectacular session at the Half Moon on St Clements. This is of course free.
