She looks at the ground, hurt, but stays silent. "Nothing happened Romulous.." she says quietly, trying to stay as calm as she could, he had a right to lash out against her. "I promise you," she says, a slight hint of pleading in her voice.

She watches him leave, hating him and loving him at the same time as she watched him abandon her. She got down to her knees and lifted her bag, carefully taking her things out one by one and placing where they once belonged. She looked at the house, feeling trapped almost, though not sure why. With nightfall she worried why Romulous wasn't back but decides it would be best not to wait up for him... She crawls into bed slowly, and lays on her side facing the wall. She didn't drift off to sleep just yet, wanting hear the familar steps of her mate, just to know he was okay...

She smiles slowly, glad he forgave her.. feeling happy for the first time in weeks. She touched his face gentley moving the hair from his face, and brought her face closer to his, kissing him softly.

He walks out and Romulus walks in.
Romulus looks at Sable carefully wishing his pride weren't in the way. Carefully he looks around seeing her clothes on the floor and noticing someone else has been in his bed he gets angry. "Sable! Who have you been with tonight? Tell me the truth."

She winces at the thought.. "No," she says regrettingly. "It was dark Romulous.. I thought- I thought you forgave me," she says. Her mind races as the reality of what had happened sets in. She covers herself with the blanket, knowing he had not forgiven her, on the contrary, he was even more angry..

She lays there, reality sinking in. Hate surged through her blood at Remus, he had finally gotten his way.. Damn him.. she thought bitterly, and closed her eyes, tears spilling forcing her off to a deep exhausted sleep.. There was nothing else to do.
