::Rolls eyes:: All right, looks like I gotta play referee now...::sweatdrop::

OK, read this carefully, I don't want anything here being misunderstood. If everyone would please refer to Rules # 6 & 7, you see that tha Tsurishi and Bro'Grim are both right...and both wrong.

Tsurshi was right when he claimed Bro'Grim couldn't dictate the result of the disarming attack--even though I agree 100% that Tsurshi would've been forced to drop his sword in this case. I haven't really been cracking the whip on this, since I'd hoped it would've been self-policing. But in this case, what probably should've happened was Bro'Grim launched the attack--then left it to Tsurishi to decide the result. Even though it seems obvious he wouuld've had to drop the blade, you never know what someone has up their sleeve--he miight have figuresd a way around it. In any case, the disarm should not have "automatically" succedded.

HOWEVER, before you start celebrating, Tsurshi, let me direct your attention to Rule #7: the Realism rule. In this case, after Bro'Grim launched his attack, Tsurishi would have had to REALISTICALLY declare the result. Like I said, I agree his strength, as the character was described, wouldn't have been enough for him to retai the blade--so unless he could find another way to defeat the attack (and with his abilities, I'm hard pressed to think of one), he would have been expected to voluntarily dropped it. And if he did not, I woiuld have had the right to intervene.

Also, Tsurshi, you should NOT have negated the post--only I have that power, and I use it only sparingly. And even though some of the other players--and I--had problems with you actions, we let the posts stand.

::SIGH:: OK, now for a (hopefully) fair resolution. Tsurishi and Bro'Grim are going to "back up" a bit, to before Bro'Grim launched his attack. So basically, they're currently facing off aganst each other again, with Tsurshi still armed.
