He nodded to the others in turn, then turned to Raven.
"Actually, you didn't do that badly--they're supposed to have someone experienced "riding along" on the first mission, to make sure you know what you're doing. To say you didn't have one, you all did pretty well.
Then Shade's left eyebrow started to twitch, turning slightly red as Lina called him "Kirby". He was starting to regret telling these people his real name already...
*Sweatdrop* "'Shade' will do...and as for the two of you"--he snapped, turned towards Tsurshi and Natsume--"shut up already. We'll settle it when we get back. Now bring Paige over here."
Once the blond girl was set in front of him, it was clear her condition was deteriorating rapidly. The gray pallor of her skin was starting to deepen, and her breathing and pulse were barely even perceptible.
"What'd they do to ya, kid?..." Shade took a deep breath, relesed it slowly. "I need to concentrate for what I'm about to do next," he said, looking pointedly at Tsurshi and Natsume. "Now can you two keep from tearing into each other for a few minutes so I can work--or am I gonna have to telepathically sedate you!?"
Meanwhile, Ramirez was on his communicator.
"We're ready to jump--transfer Shade and Paige directly to Sick Bay." Suddenly he noticed an unusual shadow passing above him. Looking up, he spoted what appere to be a girl--wih wings?? (OOC: Tsuishi, that's you, in case you didn't realize it already :-) ) Who the hell IS that?...
