 The eyes of the cold metal giant started to glow green. It's awakening was caused by the struggle of a captive hanging in a net as well as a small party of people moving about nearby. Another entity was detected a little further away. Immediately, something didn't seem right.

"Geographical Error."

Geographical Error? Why doesn't this thing just say I'm lost?

"Warning! Unknown Program Detected."

Unknown Program?? What program?

"Initializing Protocol: 138"

What? Wait a secon...

The voice inside Bro'Grim's mind was abruptly silenced by a program designed to keep the biological 'software' subdued.


Back at Star Cross Labs -

"Dr. Faust! We've traced the origin of the other portal. It's energy signature is approximately fifty years in the past. The system is running the algorythms and we should be able to send them a signal within the..."

"You know we should not contact or otherwise intefere with a previous timeframe."

"But Doctor! There seemes to already be a parodox! There's nothing in our records that show a group or person that is capable of this type of technology."

Dr. Faust peered into his monitor for a moment. The idea of making contact with someone... Or something in the past went against their prime directive. Even covert operations and conflict expirements were incredibly risky. Before, if there was a problem, they'd send a unit to correct a situation and fix their timeline. This time things were very different. "Alright, what do you propose?"
