 "Yeah, we'd better help them," Ramierez replied to Raven's question. They weren't into the 'save the innocents' busines..but the boy looked like a local. Maybe he could tell them where they were...and Exactly What The Hell Was Going On...


The woman smlied at Simon's defiance. "Ah, children today, no espect for authority...goooood..." Smiling, she raises the whip again...then frose in mis'strike as a strange little girl with wings and a sword bigger than she was challenged them. Then they heard an earth-shattering gunshot that spooked their mounts, anc caused the one the woman had been riding to turn and flee in terror, running off into the underbrush.

Sehe watched as the others filed out of the tres, armed with weapons she'd never seen before. Clearly there weren't primitive natives like the boy they'd surrounded...but they didn't wear the coat of arms of any noble house she'd seen either...

"Who are you people!?" she sputtered, dwaring back defensively. the others, still on their lizards, followed suit. "Whom do you serve!? Our Lord Eugene will have you flayed for entruding on his claim!..."
