The three of them--Natsume, Priss and Raven--entered through three different buildings, in three different cities located in three VERY different dimensions--but stepped into the same, cavrernous main lobby, less than a second apart. It was huge, at least five sroties tall, in a circular shape, and built completely of black marble with white specs that was strangely reminicent of a starfield,--and that seemed to stretch on forever. Behind them stood the same doors which they had entered; in front of them stood ahuge bank of sleek-looking elevators. The place was empty, their footsteps and every sound they made echoing loudly.
The only other person in the room was the smiling young redheaded woman sitting behind the heavy, round, marble Receptionist's Desk, which was set directly in the center of the room. The little tag on her shirt read "Kat."
She wsmiled at the newcomers. "Hi..the President will be ready to see you shortly; I've been told we're waiting on onew more person first. So if you could just head over there--"As she pointed, one of the elevator doors slid open automatically "--he'll be right with you..."
They enter to find that the elevator has no buttons to push, no numbers to tell which floor you're on. Eventually, the three find temselves in a small but comfortable room, filled with overstuffed chairs, urns of coffee and a HUGE pile of dohnuhhts and other pastries.
Suddenly the p.a. system is activated. "Make yourselvs at home, I'll be interviewing all of you shortly--as soon as our fourth arrives.. Now might be a good opportuiity to introduce tourselves to each other...odds are that you'll bwe seeing a LOT of each other.."
