 Ness' reply came back almost instantly. "We copy...Stand by..."

He quickly brought up the Dimensional Viewer, giving him several images from their general area. Zooming in on Paige, he clicked on the computer's MediScan application, performin a Remote Triage to determine the severity of Paige's condition. The dimension was still very unstable as a result of the previous battle; one more extraction might very well cause another "blackout", cutting the dimension off from HQ for an indefinite length of time--which could be disasterous for anyone trapped there. Which meant that if Paige went, the other team members would have to go, too, aborting the mission--and abandoning any other missing personel still in the area.

"Negative on that, Natsume," Ness replied, cecking Paige's vitals. "Her condition's not life-threatening--yet...it's just a side effect of her powers. she should be fine in a few hours. I'll monitor her though, just to be sure--hold on..."

The image changes, cutting to a platton of troop who were nosing around the building they were just in. They had a German shepard a a tracking dog, and it appeared to have Paige's scent. It was only a matter of time before they found the unit's trail again. "You've got some troops--crap, I show 15-plus here--heading your way!..."
