The huge tidal wave did suceed in putting many of the fires out--but even as they were being snuffed, more were being set, by trops all along the treeling (OOC: Keep in mind that a reinfirced batallion means upwards of 600 personel at Eugene's disposal, not counting servants, slaves, and ohter noncombatants that could be pressed into service if necessary.) And though the team killed many, still more troops charged into the fray, emboldened as they realized how few "rebels" there really were. Nor were thewy stupid--in fact, the leading elements were retreating slightly, letting Simon, Raven and the others follow them. Suddenly, they heard the sounds of mocement BEHIND them, as they were encircled, falling into the trap.
And now the vertol's approached, only to be attacker by Bro'grim...
The leader's craft staggered, almost crashing into the treeline as Bro'grim landed on top of it, and shook desperately, trying to get him off. The second aircraft came up behind and starting firing it's twin Gauss machine guns at the cyborg, trying nnot to hit the other ship. the other four continued inbound to target, accelerating to lose the cyborg...
