Ness froze for a moment. He recognized the two voices in the transmision--it was Shade and that other Overmind guy he took with him. What the hell're they doin'?...

"I could....", he said to Dr Faust, "but won't that create a paradox?"


Shade nodded to Natsume, still coughing. "All right...but can you have Scyther drop me off over that way?" He needed to get to his Valkirie, and fast...


Ramierez finally reached the target area, and almost instantly began drawing fire from the ship's point-defense lasers. Sweeping past Bro'Grim, it launched a strafing run, raking the ship from bow to stern with the lasers in its wing roots--and having little effect, save that the shield, which had been red, now turned an orange color.

About then he spotted Bro'Grim,and decided to contact the cybord using his electrokinetic powers, hoping to get some tactical information about the Cruiser...


Menawhile the remaining troops and suits had set up ahead of the group. Seeing that they couldn't fight these people man-to-man, they tried a different approach--splitting into fire teams and breaking out the REALLY heavy weapons. As soo as they came into range, the team would be facing a literally wall of massed fire...
