The creatures that Dregnok threatened didn't look impressed in the least. The two of his shoulders simply launched off and took position above and slightly in front of them preparing to lob their spears.
"You threaten us, you overgrown newt!?" One of thembelllowed, in a voice surprisingly loud and deep for somehing that small. The spear began to glow in his hands. "I'll--"
But the woman raised a hand, stopping him. Then she turned to Dreg, eyes boring into him. "I've not had the "pleasure" of meeting your kind, newcomer," she said vioce dripping with sarcasm. "But I would advise you not to threaten them. After what we've endured...no one here is in the mood to brook threats."
Then The turned to Lina, her frown disappearing, to be replaced by an almost hopeful look. "A dimensional portal, you say? Perhaps..." then she turned towards the far wall amd whispered somehting. "Suddenly, yet another portal opened. "Right this way..."
"Wait," Shade interrupted. "There's one more of us--we left him, er, it in the field..."
"The machine-man? Wery well, bring him as well. The portal will still be open when you return." Hten she turned to the others. "If you would step through..."
