Subject: The Real Story: Bomar v. Harrell
In reply to: Yellerjacket 's message, "Bomar the Man!" on 22:01:10 10/20/03 Mon

The thing I noticed about Graham Harrell this past Friday is that he doesn't act like the leader of his team. He just has that emotionless, look at dad for the next play and then runs it. He seems isolated from the rest of the team....just the opposite of what we see a Favre do as leader of the Packers offense. I really wonder if his mechanical way of playing will translate to success in the college game. I think Bomar is much more suited for college football physically and as a leader.

Bomar will play for national championships while Harrell will play catch for the stats.

On the other hand, I was impressed with the coaching adjustments made by coach Harrell during the game and at half time. The game was 7 - 3 with Ennis leading at the half. Then Ennis exploited the Corsicana defense by using the running game effectively to open things up.

With Graham on his own without daddy to support him, he may not be the same player. My opinion.
