Subject: Who are the most respected HS coaches in Texas?

As a parent of a good football player, who would you want as a coach....best program, public or private, well-known, respected as a coach, cares about his players, gets the best scholarship for his players? For instance:

1. John Parchman, Midland Lee
2. Steve Freeman, Brownwood
3. Terry Cron, Commerce
4. G. A. Moore, Pilot Point
5. Steve Lineweaver, Euless Trinity
6. John Outlaw, Lufkin
7. Todd Dodge, Southlake Carroll
8. Bob Wunderlick, Dallas Jesuit
9. Eddie Peach, Arlington Lamar
10. Johnny Tusa, Waco

Gone, but not forgotten: Art Briles (Stephenville), Bob McQueen (Temple), Bob Alpert (Duncanville).

Can you name a few? Most of mine seem to be from North Texas. Don't forget the program at Westlake in Austin (Ron Schroeder).
