Subject: Refreshing the App screen while connecting to a DB

I have an APP that reads data from an SQL server into an Excel sheet and
also reads Excel to the SQL server.
My problem is that label's do not refresh while the data is being moved
(i.e. I can't display a "PLEASE WAIT" label) until the data has moved.

This applies to any object on the form...including DBGrids.... I get
blank rectangles unless I make the grid visible after the batchmove.

Any help will be greatly appreciated
