He smiled as he saw what he was looking for.

He ran the last 20 meters of his journey, stopping at a very large, impressive tree. The leaves had all fallen off, but it was still huge with a great tangle of branches.

Onyx deftly climbed into the tree and sat in one of the lower branches, leg dangling down, making it look like there was a dead body in the tree to passers-by...not that there would be many passers-by....

((OOC: Okay, someone thought *I* was a dead body when I was doing this at my school....they called a police officer and everything! XD!!! I was just sleeping, sheesh XD!!! End OOC))

He sighed and surveyed the area, watching the small animals scurry to and fro, finding a quiet, serene beauty in the glittering white blanket that had covered a vast majority of the forest floor.
